CRIME: MAN ARRESTED OVER KIDNAPPING AND ATTEMPT TO KILL A 6 YEARS OLD SCHOOL BOY
Akatsi south police have arrested a man for kidnapping and attempt to kill a 6-year-old school boy in a forest in the Monome Electoral Area in the Akatsi south Constituency.
The NDC deputy Organizer who double as the Assembly Member for Atidzive electoral Area, Hon. Edem Nasser who vowed to contest his seat again confirmed the incidence to authenticnewschannel.blogspot.com and said he has received a call today around 7:30 a.m. for a report of a kidnapping and he wasted no time to chase his boys in the bush to rescue the 6 years old boy who nearly meet his untimely death by ritualist.
Mr. Michael Atokey a motor Rider who helped the Assembly member and the father in Rescuing the young school boy syas it has been lord they came in to save the life of this sinless young boy because the murderer is strong physicall and spiritually.
"He wanted to kill me when I chase him in the bush to bring him back after he charmed and my other people don't know his whereabouts, He nearly finished me."
The young motor Rider too laments.
The victim, a 6-year-old boy who kept crying even at the police station was in the Akatsi south district market today at 6:00 when a man walked up to the boy and asked to send him to the school. When he refused, the man grabbed the school boy and dragged him to a forest in the Monome electoral area to kill him for money, eyewitnesses say.
The Vibrant NDC Constituency executive and The Assembly Member say while in the forest, the man removed the boy's shirts whilst the School boy keep shouting for help before a man who believes to be in his 40s came to rescue the boy from the murderer.
An investigation is currently underway.
