FREE SHS IS NOT THE ROAD TO OUR MARKETS CONSTRUCT AT LEAST ONE ROAD IN GHANA PRECISELY IN MY ELECTORAL AREA- JAPHET 1 TO THE GOVERNMENT

The Assembly Member Aspirant for Wuxor, Have and Sremanu Electoral area Japhet Festus Gbede cried to Government for poor roads in Ghana most especially in his Electoral Area.
Japhet 1 as he is popularly known, has Jab the ruling Government to stop thinking that Free SHS is the road they will use to their markets and to their hospitals.

Prior to the 2016 General election you theFREE SHS IS NOT THE ROADS TO OUR MARKETS CONTRACTS AT LEAST ONE ROAD IN GHANA PRECISELY MY ELECTORAL AREA- JAPHET 1 TO THE PRESIDENT npps promise the people of my Electoral Area many social amenities which good roads are not left out but getting to your last year in office as we gave you the mandate to man the affairs of this nation there is nothing to write home about looking at the roads in my Electoral Area whilst this farming communities pay the greater percentage of the revenue to the Akatsi south District Assembly precisely.
These roads are now riddled with dams making driving,riding and daily activities a nightmare
the unquantifiable and immeasurable value of the gift of life which we only live once ( Yolo) and yet many are those that lose their precious lives through accidents [ car and motor] on our roads.
Which I can say categorically that, the super incompetence of this government is the major cause because they are thinking Free SHS is the road we will use to our markets so they are doing nothing to solve problems concerning roads in this country.
Dreadful figures from the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) indicate that just last year or two, total road accident records amounted to over 13,843, out of which some 3,076 people lost their innocent lives while 12,166 sustained minor to critical injuries which am not a left out.
Is it, therefore, a curse for those in charge of affairs in this country to ignore the pressing and immediate need to at least Reshape the following roads; SREMANU TO HAVE, FROM HAVE TO WUXOR, FROM EDZIKORPE JUNCTION TO EDZIKORPE?
Ghana may be faced with problems such as corruption, greed and poor politics which have claimed many innocent lives like Ahmed Suale, JB Danqua ect but of all these, road accident is the most debilitating cancer that is fast depleting our human resource day by day; hence the need for proper thinking and a target-specific approach to mitigate it which His excellency the president and his cohorts seems to lack.
Anytime accident claims the life of a prominent figure in society, we talk bitterly about it for a week or two and then it just ends there. If you are unlucky not to be a popular person or prominent man in the society, you don’t even get a mention and you fall off the face of the earth just like that; and life returns to normal for everyone else until another accident happens again
Years ago, Mrs Akufo-Addo launched the Save-a-child, Save-a-mother campaign which raised a whopping GH¢10m to start and complete the magnificent state-of-the-art 1000-bed capacity Child and Mother Unit at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), while Mrs Bawumia, for her part, has also initiated a nationwide ‘Safe Delivery Project’ to improve the chances of survival of mothers and newborns which our district wasn't a beneficiaries anyway.

These are clearly angry women who are determined to save the situation of child and mother mortality. So I ask: Why can’t authorities in Akatsi south district assembly too invoke the same spirit and measures of determination to save or reduce the carnage on our roads given the dreadful figure of casualties each year?
Not too long ago, we have seen the president also holding pantry bowls begging in US for funds to build Cathedral whilst thousands out there are dying due to poor roads.
Mr. President these carnages on the roads mentioned above are like AK 47 GUNS in your hand; you are the final 'sayer' on this matter at this juncture, you may have to shoot and kill the beast on these roads or watch the beast to devour the lovely people of my electoral area one after the other till one is left on the streets of Akatsi south constituency and it surroundings Villages again.
