ASSEMBLY MEMBER ASPIRANT FOR WUXOR,SREMANU AND HAVE ELECTORAL AREA APPEALED TO GOVERNMENT FOR CLASSROOMS

Leo Nelson Adzidogah to provide a three units classroom Block for students of SREMANU D/A BASIC SCHOOL in his Electoral Area.

"We have been in the DCE'S high office on several occasions for this particular project that was started by the community it self which we just need his support to fast track the completion of the project in the shorted possible time and I cant just understand why the DCE don't want to help as even after promising us",he said.The students attend classes in a dilapidated thatch structure prepared by the community or under tree, which is affecting teaching and learning in the school.The Assembly member Aspirant, Mr. Japhet Festus Gbede cried and made the appeal at a meeting organised by him, The Assembly member , Unit Committee Members, The School Management Committee, The members of the Sremanu Development committee which he is the secretary to that committee and the Chairman for Parent/ Teacher Association of the school, Mr. Timothy Apeve.

He said considering the high increase in population, it is very crucial for the NPP Government to consider building a school block for the class 4 to 6 pupils, to save the students from travelling very far to attend school.He said intake is increasing at the Sremanu Primary School and it is now very urgent to get a better building to accommodate all our students.

The Assemblyman hopeful commend teachers especially the headteacher Mr. Kpemlie Patrick for organising extra classes free of charge for the school children's in form three and said that had led to improvement in academic performance of the school and praised the school for performing well in the last BECE results.
