21 YEARS OLD JAPHET FESTUS GBEDE HAS OFFICIALLY PICKED FORMS TO CONTEST THE ASSEMBLY ELECTION
Japhet Festus Gbede popularly known as Japhet 1 , has picked nomination forms to contest for the Assembly Election in the Wuxor, Have and Sremanu electoral area slated for December 17, 2019.
The current Assembly member for the area, Hon. Emmanuel papraku has been praying for running unopposed since the beginning of this year but the young Japhet vowed to contest him and thise time around, he is facing tight competition.
As of the time of filing this story, 3 other members of the area including the incumbent have picked the nomination forms to contest.
Since 1992, the people of Sremanu has not won the seat because they don't contest whilst the electoral area is lacking behind in terms of development, Japhet 1 added.
The seat is being occupied by the Candidates from Wuxor or Have and this is the best time for us to do a positive change that will bring positive development not positive sleepers in the Assembly, Japhet lament.
Speaking to some elders of the Electoral Area including the former Assembly Member for the Wuxor, Have and Sremanu electoral Area, Hon. Asiwu, they officially encourage Japhet to go into the election without fear because he is coming out Victorious on the 17th of December.
They added that the Vibrant Assembly member hopeful has the development of the area at heart and has demonstrated to the rank and file of the Wuxor, Have and Sremanu Electoral Area that he is poised for development.
"We are supporting him because he has the area at heart and for the first time the area can boast of a young boy who is selling us to home and Afar. He always support our students during the BECE and sports times.
The former Assembly member for the area, Hon. Asiwu opined that " Japhet is a unifier. We the electorates and opionion leaders in Wuxor need him to help more people in the area as he is doing".
Japhet who finished filling his forms within 12 hours will from tomorrow be at some funerals in the electoral area to mourn and sympathize with bereaved families.
Japhet again seized the opportunity to thank Oswald Mawuko Klertz and his Brother Dodzi Agbemenya for helping him finished his filling of the forms in the early hours of Thursday.
