YOU AND YOUR PARTY HAS BECOME A STAMBLING BLOCK TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF MY COUNTRY GHANA- PRECIOUS EMPEROR BLADE TO THE PRESIDENT, NANA ADDO
Ghanaians particularly Voltarians are still not convinced with the importance of the president's two days tour in the Volta Region.
One of the Articles by Mr. Precious Emperor Blade which goes viral on the internet details why the president of the republic must be voted out of office in 2020.
Mr. Bladed added that, the president and his npp party suddenly become a stambling block towards the development of mother Ghana.
They must be voted out, he repeatedly stressed.
It is much nauseating to the people of the Volta region to know that it only has to take Nana Addo's coming to Volta region for one-man contractors to go to site to be filling potholes with sand on the roads in the Volta region. A two-day tour both on Monday and Tuesday , November 4th and 5th respectively.
We hope and pray that the people of the Volta region do not experience what the people of Ashanti region experienced when contractors were brought to site only to leave after Nana Addo left town because that has been a common feature of a deceptive government.
To set the ball rolling , President Nana Addo's government has nothing significant to boast of in the Volta region. The NPP have abandoned most roads under construction whixh were started by John Dramani Mahama. Some of the abandoned roads include, Sokode -HoUHAS bypass, Asikuma to Kpeve - Hohoe roads ( Eastern corridor roads),Tongor Kpalime roads, Shime roads, Atsito to Fiaxor roads and 20 km Kodzi to Agave roads in South Tongu.
Last year June 2018, the President went on a tour to inspect some portions of the Eastern corridor road. The roads minister gave his assurance that the contractors will come to site within two to three weeks. Since June 2018, it has taken 18 months the contractors did not come to site. Dr. Letsa, the regional minister also gave assurances that contractors will move to site by end of September that one too did not materialized. This has left most people in a dilemma whether they should take assurances from government appointees serious.
Under the Mahama led government, the following roads were constructed
Alsphating of Ho town roads, stadium roads, SSNIT flat to Voradep village among others in the Ho Central constituency.
Kpedzeglo- Mafi Kumasi Township, Asiekpe - Adaklu to Ho road, Agbakorfe - Dabala Adutor- Akalowe road and others .
Juapong Fodzoku Torgorme road, Aveyime Dove road, Mepe Road .
It is very much interesting to note that in almost three years of president Nana Addo's government, there is nothing significant ongoing in the region.
Since the president has nothing to boast of in the Volta region, he went visiting a private rice farm in Adaklu and to commission a dormitory at Vakpo SHS , a dormitory established by H.E John Dramani Mahama.
The NPP is yet to redeem its promise of 1D1F in Volta region. I am however surprised that the trade minister said in Adaklu that he will be commissioning a resident's rice and maize farms in Adaklu as part of the 1D1F.
Former president Mahama established a number of dining halls and dormitories in the region. Key amongst these dining halls and dormitories include a dining hall and kitchen at Three-Town school in Ketu south, 18-unit classroom block, A library and administration block, 3-storey girls dormitory , 4-unit teachers two bed room (each) quarters.
All these were done at three-Town in Ketu south. Expansion of Educational infrastructure in most senior high schools including St. Paul's Senior High school (Spaco),18-unit classroom block at Keta Senior High school, Keta Business Senior High , Anlo SHS, Zion Colleg, Ve-Koloenu, boys' and girls' dormitory, assembly hall complex in Afadzato among others.
Most schools have witnessed infrastructure expansion in the Volta region under Mahama. We have seen the construction of E-Block in a number of areas in both Volta and Out regions including Krachi Nchumuru, Nkwanta, Kwamekrom, Volo in North Tongu and one in Akatsi South.
Besides , the Volta region has witnessed the construction of the Ho aerodrome, Volta's premier University (University of Health and Allied Sciences), Ho Central market, Five district water projects at Adidome in Central Tongu, water project at Kpando Torkor that also serves the very good people of Biakoye.
The Mahama government have invested immeasurably in the health sector of which almost all districts have CHPS compounds under H.E John Mahama. Avetikope, Dafor, Togorme, Sovoe, Bagba, Kpando Torkor all in Kpando and in Ketu South, we can point to Afuta Glidzi, Agbogbome, Avegato in Aflao, Zuime, Atoklokope . These areas can smile when they hear of H.E John Dramani Mahama.
It will interest Ghanaians to know that , Mahama-led government was undertaking a hospital expansion project at the Akatsi district hospital which would have had children's ward, theater, administration block among other ultra-modern facilities. A project which was 70% completed under the erstwhile administration was abandoned by the Nana Addo led government.
One would have thought when the president came to Aflao , he would commission the industrial zone that he promised the people of Ketu south and Ketu North in May 2016(electioneering campaign), unfortunately that did not happen.
Did the president say the alternative to his government is Scary.
The alternative is indeed scary for the incompetent NPP officials who are scared of the ordinary Ghanaians because they will be punished for the CSE, for increase in fuel prices, for increase in utility tariffs, unemployment of bonded nurses, introduction of licentia exams at training colleges, increase in importation cost, abandoning roads, losing Ghc. 9.6 billion on corruption at established by Mr Daniel Dormelevo.
With all the above in-depth highlights , it can be established that , Nana Addo only came to Volta because he is a President and not because he wish to address any situation.
I urge Voltarians to make the right choices come next year in order to save our future from the hands of this clueless government
