PERSISTENT WATER CRISIS HITS COMMUNITIES INCLUDING SREMANU IN THE AKATSI SOUTH CONSTITUENCY.
plea to the sky is my limit and Brian Mosko (Torgbui Agamah Dormenyo i) for mechanized boreholes.
We the natives of the three deprived villages with estimated population of 5000 would like to acknowledge the directors of the Sky Is My Limit especially Brian Mosko (TORGBUI AGAMAH DORMENYO I) and his donors for the provision of mechanised boreholes to deprived communities.
Residents here have appealed to The Sky is my limit ( Non Governmental Organisation) to facilitate the drilling of mechanised boreholes in the above communities for commercial and domestic use.
The water situation remains dire, with residents having gone years without access to clean and safe drinking water.
The Assembly member hopeful for WUXOR-HAVE & SREMANU electoral area, has disclosed that the continued water crisis had led to an outbreak of cholera in the communities in his electoral area that claimed the life of many people.
When the country's Director, Mr. Michael Nyahe who doubled as the supervisor visited the communities upon invitation by the Assembly member hopeful and leading members of the communities, desperate residents were queuing for a muddy water 15 kilometers away from the communities while others had resorted to collecting water from unprotected sources such as wells and dugouts for domestic and commercial use.
It is sad seeing human beings fighting over driking water with Cows, frogs snakes and other poisonous animals, the Assembly member hopeful cried.
We appeal to NGO's most especially the sky is my limit to drill the mechanised boreholes for us before we die of cholera and some other deadly diseases.
I think the sky is my limit (NGO's) are our last hope, said Japhet Festus Gbede.
Mr. Micheal Nyahe added that the bushy road leading to the water body and the footprints of cows which left the river bank not long after his arrival tells of the woes of users of this water.

Residents of the town say this has been their only source of water for years now and appeals upon appeals to the District Assembly has not been given any priority by these duty bearers.
The Assembly member hopeful for Wuxor, Have and Sremanu Electoral area, Mr. Japhet Festus Gbede retorted that he has written to several NGO'S in water and the District Assembly but as it's the politician's response to issues: it is in the pipeline.
